Lags (positive lag)

Relationships that build a waiting period into the logic.

Threshold0

What it measures

How many relationships carry a positive lag.

How Claims Digger calculates it

Counts relationships with positive lag among those whose successor isn't yet complete. Any lag at all is flagged; the check passes only at zero.

Why it matters

A lag is time in the schedule that isn't represented as an activity anyone can track, status or update. It is schedule risk hiding in a relationship.

How to fix a failure

  • Replace each lag with a real activity (for example 'concrete cure') so it has a duration, a calendar and a status.
  • Keep a lag only where it is a true fixed delay with no work behind it, and be prepared to explain it.

Claims Digger runs all 14 checks on any schedule you upload, and lists the exact activities behind every failure. See how the health check works.
